A Legend of Over 150 Years
Our winery is located in Yenda, NSW. Our harvest this year consisted of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. We crush, ferment and store our wines which are all bottled on the estate.
Captain Cook Winery
Our winery is located in the New South Wales regional township of Yenda which has a population of around 1,600 people and is 580km south west of Sydney and 500km North West of Melbourne.
The Winery site itself was established in 1945 and it has close ties with the development of the Riverina as a major Australian viticultural area. We have the capacity to crush and bottle approximately 40,000 tonnes annually using our state of the art facility including bottling line, temperature controlled tanks, warehousing and barrel storage.
At Captain Cook Wine we source fruit from around South Eastern Australia. The majority of our growers are in the Riverina, New south Wales, but we also bring fruit in from Mildura and Swan Hill in Victoria, Padthaway, Riverland, Barossa and Adelaide Hills in South Australia.
